As per the current Scenario: COVID-19 test is required for people flying into Canada & 14 days Quarantine is mandatory. If you plan to go to Canada as an international student after October 20, 2020 ,Your Designed Learning Institution (DLI) must be on the list of DLIs with approved COVID-19 readiness plans before you travel to Canada.
Regarding PSW :If your program is less than 8 months, You aren’t eligible for a work permit.If your program is more than 8 months but less than 2 years, Canada may give you a work permit that’s valid for up to the same length as your study program but If your program is 2 years or more, They may give you a work permit which is valid for maximum 3 years. If you are planning to invite your spouse: Your spouse or common-law partner may be eligible for an open work permit if you have a valid study permit and a full-time student at one of the public post-secondary school, a college or university, or CEGEP in Quebec, a private college-level school in Quebec or a Canadian private school that can legally award degrees under provincial law (for example, Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate degree). If you are planning to apply for your spouse/partner, it takes several months to get an open work permit but its better to apply once you will be there in Canada as a full time student and There are many factors that can affect the processing time and the open work permit is valid for Your spouse or common-law partner for the same period of time as your study permit.

Even though Canada is a relatively affordable option but studying abroad is always expensive. Canadain Government allows international student to work up to 20 hours per week during school terms and full-time (30 hours/week) during scheduled breaks like summer vacation. You don’t need a work permit to work while you are studying, your study permit will indicate whether you’re allowed to work.

- Study 1 year and get a 1 year post graduate work permit.
- Study 2 years (1 year pG and another 1 year PG or two year diploma or 1 year PG OR 1 Year college certificate program or 2 year masters degree or bachelors degree)..get a 3 years post graduate work permit.
